Shoulder Surgery

Postby Curran » Sun Jun 29, 2014 7:39 pm

In 2007 I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery.  Since then I have been experiencing popping, grinding, irritation, loss of control momentarily.  I have been told it wasn't the pain pump that caused the problems  I was just wondering if i have a lawsuit.  I am no longer able to work due to these complications.

Shoulder Surgery

Joe,

You may have a products liability case against the manufacturer of the pain pump if it was inserted directly into your joint.  Some of the manufacturers have now acknowledged the pumps were not supposed to be placed in the joint. I suggest you find out the pump manufacturer and see where it was placed in your shoulder.  I also suggest you speak to a civil trial attorney who is versed in product liability cases.

Very truly yours,
