Well, if you want an effective immigration policy...then yes.

But do you think there are politicians who want a good immigration policy?

They make too much money off of illegal immigration....and they get too many votes by perpetually promising to fix a problem that just never seem to get around to.

I concur, but I also think that we should deport illegal immigrants when we catch them too. They are both breaking the law, and both the supply and the demand side of the problem needs to be controlled. After all, the most dangerous illegal immigrants don't need a job, they earn money conducting criminal activities and having an underground network that provides upkeep.

No one wants to address it because obama and the congressional democrats want illegal immigration.

Illegal Amnesty, Driver License for illegals, Sanctuary Cities, Dream Act, Free Healthcare and Welfare for illegals, Hate Crimes, No Photo Id Required at federal elections all designed by democrats to buy the illegal vote.

Now do not be fooled, many on the left say obama has deported more illegals then Bush did, but these Illegals were prisoners released and sent to Mexico. Not illegal workers caught at the jobsite or cashing welfare checks.

I believe both parties are culpable...the employer should have to pay for the deportation cost.
