So i got a reckless driving ticket,,,?

i was driving in fredericksburg VA on the way back from vacation, going 81 in a 65 and a cop gave me a reckless driving ticket cause iw as going above 80
i have a court date in a little over a month

first off, id really like not to go to court. on the otherhand i'm a poor collegiate who works as a waitress
secondly, do i need a lawyer? i didnt think it was too big a deal- that the judge would probably wave it and give me a fine [although i did get a speeding ticket about 10-11 months ago...] but now im getting promotional material from attorneys and starting to freak out. what should i do??
also, do i just plead guilty? or what?

Dont be worried I have had a few of them and was never charged with reckless. Odds are you will go to court well you will have to because reckless is a mandatory court appearance. You will go in see the proscuter. He will give you a deal plead guilty to careless driving it's only 3 points and about 175 bucks. Instead of 6 points and 450 dollars
