Soldier Looking For Work.?

Im A NC National Guard Soldier, & interested in looking for work with the police. I have a couple criminal charges from the past, marijuana & resisting arrest... but the government has seen fit to grant me a secret security clearance for my job in the army since i had proven that i changed. will the charges hold me back from applying to the PD? how do i go about applying to work for law enforcement?

Try walking into a police station, and ask the nice gentleman for an employment application. While you are in the process of completing the app, try to remember that they prefer people who tell the truth.

Why would you want to be a cop anyways? Be a doctor or nurse.
