Spanish employment law - seeing a doctor during work hours?

Postby ned » Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:31 pm

What is the law when it comes to doctor's appiontments in Spain during working hours?

Do you need to give so many days notice? Or any notice? I thought so long as you have a justificante then you're ok whenever you go. Or does it depend on what type of contract you're in (indefinido etc)?

This would generally be down to the discretion of the employer. Some may allow you a hour off, others may ask you to take the appointment in your own time or book a day off work.
