Still in the 2/7 Club!?

On the phone with the IRS and have been on hold for 22 minutes due to high call volume! This may sound crazy but there needs to be a class action suit against the IRS. (Lol will never happen) Whenever we the people owe the gov't money, they are QUICK to garnish wages and whatever else, but as soon as they owe us money, its like getting "snail mail". So many people lost their jobs and need their refunds. The gov't isn't creating any jobs for us and slow to giving our refunds. Its to the point now where you can't rely on WMR or the IRS refund cycle chart! There are so many 2/7 people, there is now a club on facebook and a website...this is crazy! And before anyone asked, no, there is no question here! Just looking for comments I guess! Good luck to everyone in this situation.

Update: after waiting 30 minutes on hold the rep tells me that my refund has been pushed back a week because so many taxpayers are efiling and their computer cannot handle all the efiles even though that's how they want people to file. This is crazy! Something needs to be done. The IRS can get away with screwing anyone they want!

I filed 1/19, accepted 1/20. I've been stuck on "by 2/7" until this morning. I was given a DD date for Friday, 2/3.

Iam also waiting for a dd date thinking of calling the irs ,trying to find the facebook page but can not find it does anyone have a link :) ok just letting everyone know they updated our account when I talked to the irs my dd date is 2/6 my wmr said by2/7 .

I filed on the 17th was accepted on the 18th, and was stuck in the 2/7 club untill this morning it said I will recieve my dd between 2/1- 2/3!!!

I was accepted on the 20th still show 2/7 on wmr calld irs today n they sayd i have a dd date of 2/6

If it helps I am stuck in the Feb 7th club according to WMR but when I called the IRS this a.m. was told my direct deposit is scheduled for Feb 6th.

My WMR says Feb 7, but i called the IRS and was given a DD day of Feb 6.

I'm a true blue member of the 2/7 Club *SIGH*

This makes me feel like i'm some criminal or something. Like I'm being punished because I filed my taxes in January ?? And the people who file later are all OK and will get their returns in a timely manner? Why because they filed in the "Right" month?? The wmr site is nuts too because if you check to many times in one day it goes back to saying they have no info on your refund. At this point I feel as though my money wont be in my bank until March or April! I too spoke to the IRS and got nothing but the run around. The second person I spoke to last night, told me mine was "Re-sequenced" I was like "What does that mean"? All she could say was "I'm not sure but it bumped you back 5 days" Great more time wasted.... Next year I'll wait til April to file... *Sigh*
