Still not sure what to do as a career?

Postby michelangelo » Sun Jul 29, 2012 12:49 pm

I'm still confused about what to do as a future career. I'm currently attending a 4-year university, and I plan to go to graduate to get my masters, so before I continue I want to say that I at least want to make a minimum of 70,000, otherwise I would think that all those years of study would be kinda of a waste (my opinion). The things that have always been of natural interest to me are History, and Culture (languages, cultures of diff countries, etc) and news on the global level. I had considered before coming a History professor, but I'm still afraid of talking in front of huge crowds of ppl. I also don't necessarily care about politics like Congress, the diff state departments, or I don't keep track of the treaties and laws and stuff. I thot my best hope would be to do some type of gov job based on international work but I want that cultural aspect to be there, like I said don't care that much about politics. I have also considered Anthropology, but there are certain cultures that I am really interested in (European, Middle Easetern, Asian) and I don't think they get payed that much. So as you can see I'm still really confused, I'm in college and I really have to figure this out soon. So any help would be really appreciated.

Thank You
