Trying to convince parents into letting me do beauty videos on YouTube?

Ok what I wanted to do was make a YouTube account as a beauty guru with makeup, hair, review, tutorial,and nail videos. I think it'd be so much fun. The only trouble........, my patents :(. I have not mentioned it to them once. I think my mom wouldn't b to uptight about it but probaly my dad. He'd probaly be concerned about you know the freaks out there u no trying to track me down I guess or cursing that I'd probaly witness lol. But I really would like to do this. How do I convince them?thanks much!

well don't bring it up to your dad right when he gets home from work when he's exhausted, do it when he's had dinner, or after a glass of wine, (if he drinks) or thats just an example, but ask him after he's finished with something that he loves doing so he is still carrying that energy of happyness with him, then he might be more open to you youtube idea :)

Show your parents gurus like :macbarbie07. Show them that its ok and they were fine all these years of making videos. and that u want to follow your dream and become sucessful. (mac barbie made videos and soon became on a page of seventeen magazine) Tell them all these good thing about becoming a guru and how it benefits ur life. Just tell them that there are many people out there making videos and that nothing has happened to them. Plus, nobody is gonna track you down. I make videos and I haven't been threatened. http://www.youtube.com/user/xoxoSofiBella

You cud ask and if they say no then here's another option. You could do a friends hair and makeup and not show urself once. Just make sure it's ok with their parents.
