I requested an Family Medical Leave(FMLA) and was initially approved but then was denied by my employer. I submitted an FOIA(Freedom of Information) requesting all information etc. regarding my FMLA denial. This was denied citing attorney client privilege by my employer. I am appealing that denial. Is there any exception to the attorney client privilege? My employer is a governmental agency.
