"Transparency and rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency. Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known."

The next day the Obama administration removed from government web pages a Dept. of Labor report that showed that the so-called "gender wage gap" was feminist non-sense. When one compares like to like the wage gap goes away. Here is the report, hosted on a non-governmental web page:

ive repeated myself many times & most people either are indifferent or call me paranoid but i stand by what i said. i think our govt has malevolent intent & wants to control us. not by force but through manipulation & creating dysfunction, disunity & an uneducated & uninformed society so that we are compliant with THEIR agenda.

so my response to your question is that im not the least bit surprised.

Laughs then bows to Rowdy McFarlane, Ace of Spies.

Well done. I read this and it's amazing how much is talked but not walked in politics. It's all smoke and mirrors in reality...

ADDS:- Let me just add this:- If you take into account the 'wages' paid to women who leave the workforce for such reason as child birth, child care and elder care - taking into account the social security aspect and the automatic adjustment to 50% of their husband's income since they no longer work - women benefit greatly from a serious wage gap in their favour.

Many such activities, such as caring for an elder, attract a social security benefit, and often being at home as a mother, attract social security benefits as well.

It becomes obvious that over a lifetime and looking at the actual participation rates, and taking into account the hidden wage rate added to women's incomes from staying home - the 'wage gap' does not in fact shrink to insignificance - they are significantly better off than men overall.

Of course - here in Australia that situation is further exacerbated by the direct payment to women and men to stay at home for six months on pay plus all the social security benefits.

Further proof that Obama is the worst president in 30 years.
