What happens if i have a eviction on my record even after i paid and continued to live in the apartment?

Postby eilis » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:02 am

I just found out that i have an eviction on my record, after a dispute with a apartment complex who i worked for (who paid me in rent only). When i quit the job they charged me that months prorated amount for rent plus the upcoming months rent amount, along with $25 per day i didn't come up with the amount. They served me an eviction notice and started an eviction process, i paid all fees owed, but they apparently never stopped the eviction process. Not only did i continue to live there, i also started back working there. Now i find out 6 years later i have an eviction on my records from this apartment complex, what can i do to fight this?
