Wow really? Oh don't let people borrow your car! It's ok to say no to people! I do all the time, sure I'm a jerk but my cars not all banged up. Be sure to learn something.   dww25921 16 months ago

You, the owner of the car, get to pay for the damages to your car, their car and their medical bills. You also get to be sued by the person who got hit.And you get your insurance cancelled, and if you are lucky enough to get another company to insure you, it will be at a lot higher rate.   TurboB 16 months ago

With a minor fender bender you probably don't have too much to worry about. "Permissive useIf you're thinking of letting someone drive your car for a few hours, days, or weeks, keep in mind that you're not only lending your car, you're also lending your car insurance. Due to a provision in your car insurance policy called an "omnibus clause," your insurance will cover any driver, family member who lives with you, and even your dependent children away at school, so long as they have your permission to drive your vehicle.Note that in some states, permissive drivers will have reduced coverage while operating your vehicle."http://www.esurance.com/insurance-resources/car-insurance-follows-driver-mythThe situation might also be effect by how often and for what reason your friend is using your car:http://www.progressive.com/understanding-insurance/entries/2009/8/31/are_you_covered_if_.aspx   Poppet! 16 months ago

Do you have comprehensive coverage? If so, you are most likely covered... because then your vehicle is covered no matter who drives. If not, you might be out of luck. Either way, look at this site - http://www.4autoinsurancequote.com/uncategorized/does-my-auto-insurance-cover-friends-driving-my-car/ to determine more about your situation.   Drewster1985 14 months ago http://www.4autoinsurancequote.com/uncategorized/does-my-auto-insurance-cover-friends-driving-my-car/
