Is it purely subjective, or is it a title given by the masses?
Is it self-acknowledged, or is it created from a jurisdiction of a higher power, such as one from the government?
The dictionary defines it as, “a term used to indicate a general lack of guilt, with respect to any kind of crime, sin, or wrongdoing. In a legal context, innocence refers to the lack of legal guilt of an individual, with respect to a crime.”
Now hear me, I’m sure the notion of innocence exists from deep within ones’ heart. A miscreant may believe that he or she has done no wrongdoing after committing perjury, theft, murder, rape, and acts of underage internet prostitution, harassment of a minor, slander, and libel, whereas in actually, everyone else knows that he or she is responsible.
What is your definition of the word? What is your take on the concept of innocence? Is it self-declared?
Disclaimer: …this is for a research paper that I have to write for school. Any examples from personal experience are welcome.
FQ: Was Terry innocent? Did he say he was? How about Rooney, Ronaldo, and Ribery?
