We recently changed to T-Mobile and it has been a nightmare. Basics now are on Nov 17 after a LONG argument with customer service they GUARANTEED our Dec bill would be $21.84. NOW it was corrected to the right amount $158.00. NO overages nothing. The $21.84 was explained as credits due to improper ordering and things on their behalf. Since this was guaranteed I did some xmas shopping and may not have the $158.00. Do consumers have legal recourse when company reps guarantee things over the phone? OH and yes it was recorded and noted. Due to the confusion they wanted to offer me a $20.00 off.

You have no recourse. Customer Service reps do not have the legal authority to bind the carrier.

I hope you had permission to tape the call. That can be a felony.
