What's The Kid's Lastname, When The Parents Are Single

Postby Berwynn » Sun Jun 15, 2014 12:43 pm

I reside in Florida, and that I was informed when my childs dad isn't current at that time of delivery I can't name him about the birth certificate of provide our infant his lastname? He'll be absent at college for that military and certainly will not alter this. I'd like our kid to possess his lastname in addition to him be about the birth certificate. Are you able to support me out with this particular? Thanks ahead of time.

I am not sure whether you are restricted in California to giving the child your own name, or if you can designate a different name on the birth certificate. If you call the County Clerk's office, they can probably tell you.
