In May, I will be graduating college a year early with degrees in political science and philosophy. I was originally planning on going straight to law school, but I spent too much time procrastinating on law school applications, and now it seems too late to apply for Fall '12. My plan is to take a year off and apply for Fall '13 law school admission, but I am not sure what I should do for my year off. I have two options right now:
1. move in with my parents and try to find an internship
2. stay an extra semester to study abroad, get two minors (international studies, Chinese)
I would love to do #2, but money is tight, and I'm not sure if the extra semester of tuition to obtain the two minors would actually end up benefiting me. Finding an internship might be difficult for me, because I attend an out of state school and their career services don't have the resources to place me with an internship in my home state. I guess my question is: Is it worth the tuition to get two minors/will it give my law school applications/resumes any benefit whatsoever?
