Last week i sold a radio to a guy for 150 bucks. I took it to him, and he verified it worked. I knew it worked, because if it didn't i wouldn't have sold it. He was happy with it and liked it. Well yesterday he contacted me and told me he installed it and couldn't get it to work. So i went to his house to see what was wrong. Came to find out he installed it wrong. You are only supposed to used screws around a 1/4 inch when bolting the radio into the bracket. Came to find out he used screws that were like 3 inches and drove them so deep they went into the radio and damage the circuit board and messed up a bunch of stuff inside. Well he informs me then he wants his money back cause it's broke. I told him no way cause it worked, and he verified it, but the reason i'm not giving it back is because he installed it wrong and broke it himself. If it would have been installed right and still didn't work, i would have gave it back. but seeing as how he installed it wrong and broke it i don't feel i should be responsible to give it back. now he is threatening to take me to small claims court for his money back. If he does take it to court, in all honesty, who is the judge likely to agree with?
