What type of Balisong/Butterfly Knife construction is the best?

Postby gabrielo19 » Thu Jun 28, 2012 6:01 am

I'm looking to buy a balisong trainer and its come down to these benchmade variant types here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dull-Super-Practice-BALISONG-BUTTERFLY-stainless-Knife-Trainer-BM40T-BM40TR-/170699891197 it has screws and is longest 152g

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dull-patent-Super-Practice-BALISONG-BUTTERFLY-stainless-Knife-Trainer-NO-screw-/180736847562 it has not rivets or screws and is the same length as the previous one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/simple-Sandwich-construction-Dull-BALISONG-BUTTERFLY-Knife-Trainer-practic-BM40-/180896698461 it is shorter and has rivets

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silvery-Dull-Blade-Practice-BALISONG-BUTTERFLY-Knife-Trainer-2012-New-Style-/180914947080 it is in between in length and has screws
which one would be the best?

I wouldn't drop $200 for a trainer. I'd rather save that cash for a real Balisong with a blade.

You can just spend $30 on a bear and son model plus some loctite, that'll make it last forever here is a good reivew of trainers http://bestmachete.net/the-best-balisongbutterfly-trainer-knife/
