It perhaps valuable to get in touch with the Chamber of Commerce in your region - some Chambers have access to group plans, particularly if your are a member company.  Other people have resources to let company individuals discover reasonably priced plans.

I do know that when one is privately insured, which is amazingly expensive, one is more apt to be dropped from their insurance if they are discovered to have a catastrophic illness. They can get away with it more with self-insuranced people. Also nobody will cover any preexisting conditions. And they will go to bizarre lengths to claim people weren't honest on their forms, like the woman who didn't think to tell her insurer she once had a yeast infection. So they dropped her.Work hard to get this healthcare reform through. As a country, a unified people, we need it desperately. 53 months ago
