We are departing Oregon quickly, going into California. I realize we've to-go via what we get in touch with a "insect quot & stop prior to going as well much into California. We travel by having an RV.

You can not give fruit or vegetables that not want evaluation stickers in it. I applied to operate on the airport and frequently felt harmful to people who had to stop their avocados or tomatoes. It had been unfortunate. Consequently, if it's a label on it, itis good.

CDFA provides a "Guide to bringing Fruits and Vegetables into California", in addition to that you might want to peruse other resources from CDFA's Plant Health and Pest Prevention Services.

Which Types Of Fruit Cannot Be Taken Into California From Another State?

Unfortunately, No Fruit can be taken into California On most of the main highways into California there are fruit inspection stations where all vehicles, both commercial and private, must stop. It is not allowed to bring any fruit into California, due to the risk of infection. Any fruit in the vehicle will be confiscated, without any compensation. Inspections are usually very brief and full vehicle searches unusual, but certainly possible.   http://www.johncletheroe.org/usa_can/ca/fruit.htm     Sources: http://www.johncletheroe.org/usa_can/ca/fruit.htm WildBill65 73 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
