Well at least this time France was first to initiate action against Libya. Obama said we wouldn't be acting without equal support from our NATO allies. As sensitive and horrible as the situation is in Libya, with people getting slaughtered by a madman, we are charging out of a broken country, which is a real problem for our people. The world is smaller these days though, and people are developing a 'world consciousness', mostly due to technology. So how can we watch genocide and do nothing? Its a really tough call. And how to we not help nations who are our allies such as Japan in its hour of devastation? Do we continue to break bread with those who need help or say, sorry, can't help, can't afford it. What happens when we need help? Its a rock and a hard place. Skylight 33 months ago
