Will MSM help post-op ACL/Meniscus surgery?

ive been reading up a lot on MSM, and it truely is a miracle suppliment! it helps with almost everything and seeing how i just had an ACL allograft reconstruction along with a repair AND removal of parts of my meniscus (football injury) im 25 years old, pretty healthy as well and im just checking if anyone has any personal experience with MSM helping them. ive already started to notice my hair and nails are growing faster and my skin is insanely clear. i read that MSM helps regenerate cartiledge and strengthen ligaments so any info or personal experience will be much apprecaited!
