Workmans Comp

Hello Kathrena and thanks for writing,

I checked the Arizona Worker’s Comp site and it states “Arizona's system of worker's compensation(workman's comp) is compulsory, meaning that employers are required to provide worker's compensation insurance for their employees. Worker's compensation insurance may be provided through a competitive state fund, a private insurance carrier, or employers may self-insure. Waivers may be permitted.”

Due to this, you’d really have to check the particular insurance policy he was covered under, it may in fact have a clause that states services are only covered in the state, but you’ll only now for sure by reviewing the actual policy(you should be given a copy when you are employed or at least when requested).

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best,

Margot
