Another welfare state success story?

Is it possible for you to put some more subjects into your question?

You know, maybe you could also ask the number of joules output by a nuclear blast?

Another welfare state success story?

The empty seats were because a sizeable amount of tickets were given to corporate sponsors as a sort of sweetener as happens with all sports (the sponsors get corporate seats or a corporate box in the stadium) the sponsors (private companies) were meant to distribute the tickets among their workforce so all the events would have full attendance, they failed to do this. So contrary to what you think this is actually a failure of corporate organisation.

Also don't quote the Daily Mail it makes you look like a buffoon.

Another welfare state success story?

Great stuff: I was on the school board for eight years and my mother in law is in Canada and waited 13 hours to be seen in the emergency room last year when she had a stroke and then spent 3 days behind a curtain in the hallway because no room was available. so, I know first hand.

What a confused jumble of subjects you've posted under this "question." They don't relate well.

For example, you point out that the US students lag behind those of other industrialized nations. Those other nations have more "welfare state" aspects than the US so I'm not sure what you are trying to prove.

Note also that despite your criticisms of the health care systems of the UK and Canada, the people in those countries prefer their systems to the one we have here. In fact, the Conservative Prime Minister in the UK had to reassure the populace that proposed reforms were not going to result in an American-style system.

You are trying to present some sort of political condemnation but your presentation is unfocused, rambling and contradictory.
