Are unemployment benefits considered income towards workers compensation?

Postby felabeorbt » Sat Apr 02, 2011 7:32 pm

i was working part time and receiving unemployment when there was no work.
after being hurt on the job, i can no longer work and am not eligible to collect unemployment.
when the new york state insurance fund calculates my benefit amount do they use my salary from work and my unemployment to determine the amount of my weekly payment.
it is taxed and is used to determine other benefits.
