Business Tax Codes

I have been looking for a list of business tax codes and cannot seem to find the list. The codes designate what kind of business you are in. It is used on the Schedule C form. Am I asking the wrong question?

Instructions for Schedule C have the codes listed. If you don't have the instructions for Schedule C, then the link I provided will send you to a PDF version. If you can't view PDFs, then local post offices and libraries should have this document available. The codes are on the last few pages of the document.
