I have a USB modem connected to my laptop. I thought i can emit internet by creating a wifi network but came to know dat dosnt work so i attatched a wifi router via LAN so i thought router will be emiting internet via LAN wire from my laptop. But dat is not working i am not knowing what settings i have to change to let my laptop allow LAN to get internet access.


Things i have tried is
open network nd sharing>> change adapter settings>> right click local area connection>> properties>> sharing>> tick { allow other network users to connect tru this computers internet connection} i shuld select a network. ................... I am stuck here.

Forgive me if i have experimented wrong. and please tell me how to do it step by step
