Did You Ever Have Class Outside When You Were In School Or College?

Postby broehain61 » Tue Dec 24, 2013 1:21 pm

Following I visited the UofI, in certain of my courses(smaller), IF it had been an exceedingly excellent evening, we would all clean up our garbage and have class outdoors to the Quad. Does anyone recall undertaking that?? Today is actually a beautiful day, and I created the remark to somebody "May we've class outdoors these days??", and they only looked more than me like I was a nut.

Did You Ever Have Class Outside When You Were In School Or College?

Class outdoors Many moons ago when I was in grade school, both 5th and 6th grades, I had great teachers.  When it got close to the end of the school year and it would be hot, our 5th grade teacher would take us outside under the trees in the afternoon and have class.  I remember in particular we did a bit of studying the cloud formations to see what we thought they looked like.  Was that sience????   Our sixth grade teacher introduced our class to classical music.  She brought in Dvorak's New World Symphony or was it Old World Symphony.  I'm feeling old today.  Anyway, she had is put our heads down on the desk and close our eyes and at the end of the record, we had to tell her what we thought the music was telling us.    Two very creative teachers whom I'll never forget! ~3critters1nheavn~ 65 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
