Do you always abide traffic law and regulations?

Postby nickson » Wed Apr 06, 2011 5:56 am

Hmmm unfortunately, in my city the traffic rules are not being implemented strictly so there are few people who would follow. You can see people crossing the street under the overpass. There is no speed limit. The traffic lights are not functioning. Darn the traffic here sucks if I come to think about it. Since there is no rules then there is nothing to follow. Not even the wearing of seat belts are implemented strictly. However, with this rule I can't make another mistake because I was caught once before.

Do you always abide traffic law and regulations?

I don't drive anymore thanks to a couple of drunk drivers. I am too scared, but when i did drive, I did obey traffic laws. Basically because i couldn't afford the tickets. The worst thing I ever did was drive five miles over the speed limit lol

Do you always abide traffic law and regulations?

Postby broehain61 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:09 am

Sometimes I run in non pedestrian lane when I’m in a hurry.. Sometimes I parked in non-parking zone , I even sometimes over speed my wheels, and caught many times violates the specified speed limit in a highway.. Sometimes I crossed the pedestrian lane without waiting go signals. And worse of it sometimes I have reckless driving mood. .but of course that’s not always ,,lol. Now I have my lesson, I will be so much careful about this as I have calculated the whole penalty it cost me a dime.lol. I realized how useful to abide in traffic law and regulations and not to pay for it. And also for my own safety I should be very careful next time. How about you guys do you always abide over traffic regulations…?..I would love to hear from you my fellow mylotters….Have a great weekend everyone!!!

I didn't used to be such a defensive driver. I have had a $150 speeding ticket, 1 moderately bad accident- she rear-ended me-talking on the cell phone and driving is not good! People where I live don't pay attention to any of the rules, they tailgate, run red lights, do 90 mph in a 60, pass on double solid lines, you name it. I live on the outskirts of town in a rural farm community where the cops usually don't venture. People drink and drive out here-accidents all the time! Not me..I'm careful, no speeding, two hands on the wheel and I actually read the signs! I swear some people either can't read 'em or are too busy on their phones.

Do you always abide traffic law and regulations?

Hello again..yes..so am i. Sometimes am a traffic-rules violator, depends on the occasions. When I am in hurry the worst thing I would always do instead of using overpass in crossing the street I would just cross the street wherever I feel like crossing. Overtaking not in proper way that sometimes I would almost crushed and hit bystanders. Well, that's not always the way I used to do because I am a law abiding citizen of the republic (in general)... Mobhomeir here...

hi cloud, i also have the incident in my life that i'm in a hurry, and i really need to go cross the street,it's just that i am crossing the street beside the pedestrian lane. when some officer caught me,you know what its like being unfair coz i am beside the pedestrian lane, they even don't consider that it's just an inch away from the pedestrian lane.how angry i am that time,i even paid for that, one hundred pesos is still a big amount that time...

I do try to abide by the safety laws for the safety of myself as well as others. It is much wiser to be safe, I live in a county full of curvy roads so the best way to be is safe with the speed especially.

There's always a temptation to. But I can't afford to be fined. The enforcement is very strict here. In a way that's good for everybody. It's also a good thing to abide to. If you know you have always abided traffic law and regulations you sleep well at night and have peace of mind. Thanks for the topic and have a good afternoon cloud!

hi cloud. just like you, i have violated some traffic rules like entering no entry roads, driving at the side walk, parking in no parking zones, over speeding, etc. but i try to always abide by the rules most of the times. i remember i was caught and apprehended for over loading. the penalty at that time was still law but the time you will spend in processing to claim back the license is the big question. aside from the seminar you should attend, as this is one requirement for apprehended drivers.
