EBay return policy contradictions?

Postby slaine » Sun Dec 25, 2011 8:02 am

For some sellers it says:
The seller will not accept returns for this item.
But then the next line:
Refunds by law: In Australia, consumers have a legal right to obtain a refund from a business for goods purchased if the goods are faulty, not fit for purpose or don't match description.

Does that mean I can refund the item if faulty but can't get replacement? The seller is Australian too btw.

I would say that you would get a refund in your situation. contact the seller about returning the faulty article.

Ebay still has a buyer protection policy regardless of buyers own terms. So ebay and paypal should refund you no problem after opening a case.
