How do you file a grievance for workers compensation with your state attorneys office?

A costumer broke my nose at work a while back. Workers comp payed to have it fix. It is still crooked in the middle and the bumps/bones on the sides are different sizes now. and it was completely straight before. I called my workers comp insurance to let them know this and they completely ignored me, and never returned like 20 of my messages. I believe I shouldn't have to live with this lop sided nose because a costumer at work punched me when I tried to stop them from doing a walk out (I was a food waitress). Help! I was told to file a greivence with my state attorneys office now. Is this the answer or solution?

You need a lawyer and fast. Workers Comp claims are very time sensitive. If you had surgery and they paid, you would've signed some papers. Find those papers to see what the agreement was.

Your grievance may be with the doctor who did the surgery rather than with WC. A lawyer would know. You won't have to pay him upfront. He will take 25% of the settlement. 33% if it goes to court.

I agree with mirror .. accurate information.

Please hire an attorney, and make sure you have a scan to see if there are any hemorrhages behind the injury that were missed. I know someone that happened to in my family.
