I SLIPPED AND ALMOST FELL OFF THE STAIRS. I HAD TO TRY AND BALANCE MYSELF SO I PLACED MY FOOT AS BEST AS I CAN AND IT CAUSED MY FOOT TO SPRAIN. I FILED WORKERS COMP. WHAT HAPPENS NOW? I LIVE IN FLORIDA.

Here is a link to the Florida workers compensation board FAQs. You may be entitled to medical care paid for by your employer and payment for time off needed because of your injury.
