My mom says no and my dad says yes. She won't let me drive my friend to meet her and her family on vacation.Her family left today and we will go on friday after school(I am a college student). I would be paying for my expenses. I still live at home.I am really frustrated with this....I have never ever done anything to lose their trust and never been in trouble with the law.

Did you ask your Mother why she doesn't want you to go? Perhaps it's the distance that's troubling to her? I remember when I was 17, I asked to be allowed to drive me and my friends in my car to the beach for graduation weekend - it was 100 miles one way. My mother said no and my father said yes. My mother was mortified that my father said that I could drive and go for the weekend and stay in a hotel. I went and everything turned out fine - I too was a responsible young person. However, I have to tell you, if my 17 year old daughter asked me the same question now that I asked when I was 17, I'd say NO! I know you're 19, not 17. You should sit down and talk to your mother (like a grown up) and find out what her concern is. I know she has your best interest at heart and once you know what her concern is, you can either address it or realize that her concern is valid.
