I am having a property dispute and my neighbor is claiming squatters rights?

Our neighbors had their property surveyed when they didn't like the results of our survey, and I just found out that they had their surveyor set pins on our property to mark out the boundary where they would like the property line to be. We already have an attorney and are going to court but this is driving me crazy. Is it legal for them to have set pins inside my property line without my knowledge?

I will call my own surveyor and Attorney Monday but this is driving me nuts can anyone help me answer this sooner?

This is a simple dispute. The surveyors office has records that will clarify where the property line is supposed to be. Because you are just going nuts, your neighbor may have been attempting to communicate that your nutty property line isn't authentic, but you are just so into yourself you can't even hold a decent conversation about this reality. People don't just come along and move property lines unless they have some material evidence that disputes the property line that you are justifying. Maybe the land sled and a new assessment was taking during one of your nutty episodes. I don't know, but you better get the nuts out of your head and deal with this reality. Go to the city office and review the evidence. Are their any new filings? Talk to the neighbor without the nuts in your head and ask them why they are doing this. And show the evidence to your attorney. And deal with the fact that you lost 3 inches of property or whatever it is that makes you so nutty.

don't get upset over something you have no control over. let your attorney handle it, that's what you're paying him for.

You need to hang on to your self control. It's harder to do the legal stuff you need to do if you're nutting out. People won't want to deal with you. Keep in mind that the pins don't mean squat in the long run; if it's your property you are going to win. He's just getting himself built up for a major fail.

Maybe you can kill some time this weekend looking up fences and deciding which kind you will put between you and the d**khead when this is over?
