Do people living on my property have squatters rights?

I live in Oklahoma and own my property. I let another family move a trailer in next to my house on my land. They have lived her a little over 10 years. I have maintained to the property and paid all sales tax. I live on the property myself. Now they are trying to claim squatters rights on the area of my property they live on. Can they do this?

Though it looks to be in your favor since you are the one that paid the taxes and maintained the land, it is best to hire a lawyer and evict these parasites. They can take you to court. And it sounds like they are the type of people that will just that.

No, they don't. Since you knew about it, and you were maintaining the property, it's still yours. There may be some legal issues if you are trying to kick them off the property, and you may need to give them ample time to get their sh!t together (talk to a lawyer about this), but they have no claim to your property.

since you actually live on the property, the property is recorded in your name, you are responsible for the property taxes and have paid them, I don't see how but you really need to discuss this with a lawyer

If they are in fact tenants, (you are charging them and give them permission or a key to the property)
the case falls under California Landlord Tenant Law, read it carefully, you have eviction rights. If not, file a civil action claiming adverse possession.

If you gave them permission to live there, they ain't squatting. They are tenants. And if you were paying the property tax, they have no right to claim adverse possession.

I'd evict their butts.

Nope. Adverse possession in Oklahoma requires open and notorious use (including maintenance and paying property taxes) for at least fifteen years.
