Looking for case law for medical malpractice.?

Would like to know any and all case law regarding medical malpractice cases where the statute of limations had run out. Yet because of discovery of injury (years later) the plaintiff was victorious . How do you prove the malpractice was due to previous doctors care ? Looking for cases involving orthopedic surgeons. Thank you.
