I have a lease contract with a discounted rent amount for timely payments. I have been late a few times and not been hit with this penalty. I have been 3 to 15 days late the previous two months and both checks have been cashed. My landlord has indicated an intent to evict if I don't pay $100 for each month as my rent was discounted.
