Notice of lien hearing for workers compensation-california?

Postby rumford » Thu Jun 28, 2012 4:16 am

I just received a notice of lien hearing with workers compensation in california. My case was settled in September of 2011. I originally sued my employer for not paying workers compensation on my PTSD case. I had been on disability for 18 months before the case was settled. Could somebody please explain what this hearing could be about? I thought after I settled and received my check I was done with the case and could move on? It also says I do not have to appear and the employer is not getting notified of the hearing. Do they owe me more money, or do I owe somebody and don't know it?
