Nvidia GPU litigation class-action lawsuit; how will my laptop get fixed?

My Dell M1210 laptop has a bad Nvidia processor. According to the suit, Nvidia will be responsible for sending me a new GPU. As this chip is not socketed, who will be responsible for installing it?

If it is a CMOS capable RAM drive, your GPU should be installed on a GUI by Nvidia. If it's not CMOS capable, you would need to complete a 1080p form as issued by the computer manufacturer itself, Dell.
