Ordering online medication.?

Postby taillefer » Sat Jul 21, 2012 4:46 am

I wanted to know if anyone has ever ordered medication online and where? I don't have insurance and need my meds. I have looked up the laws here in MI and don't see where it's not ok. Thanks for your input.

Ordering online medication.?

Since in a previous question you stated you are addicted to Vicodin (acetaminophen and hydrocodone), I assume you are trying to find an online source where you can purchase it without a prescription.

I'm not here to be judgmental. I don't think people who are addicted to pain medication are weak, lazy, or irresponsible. I think that things like that happen, and we're not here to degrade or disrespect other human beings.

One issue with purchasing any medication online without a prescription is that most of these meds come from another country, where the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) do not regulate them. These medications are often completely counterfeit, contain other medications entirely, or are not dosage-accurate. Doing this may not be totally illegal, but it can be dangerous or useless, as these drugs can also be seized at Customs and you won't get them at all.

If you are trying to get medications other than Vicodin, my apologies for assuming this. If you cannot afford insurance, are unemployed, or are below a certain income level, you may qualify for your state's version of Medicaid. (Here in Oklahoma, it's Soonercare.)

Then you can find a physician who takes that type of payment and get your medications very inexpensively. Even if the medication is Vicodin. We teach Pharmacy Technician classes at the school where I work, and the majority of hydrocodone and oxycodone prescriptions written in our area are for Soonercare recipients, and they either get these meds free or pay literally only pennies for them.

Good luck! I know you may need your medications, but please don't take risks.
