No I would restrict it to whites and educated people who are bringing value to the society.

i doubt they are strict enough. there are about a zilliion people who need to be sent home, and apply normally.

i will agree that immigration laws here are much more stringent for legal immigration than any other country that I have ever been to (except Switzerland). Unfortunately offenses for illegal immigration are largely ignored and our southern border is wide open to let in whoever for whatever reason with very little (if any) opposition.

too strict? i don't know.

but any law that punishes innocent children is unjust, and therefor morally unenforcible.

Actually, I was born here so I am a citizen. Mexican border control should be much stricter though.
