Vinson has suggested strongly that he too will rule the individual mandate oversteps constitutional limits on federal authority. He may also move to invalidate the entire law, by granting the plaintiff states' request for an injunction to halt its implementation.http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/01/31/usa-healthcare-states-idUKN3018163020110131

I think the Supreme Court will decide. Most state courts have favored it.   Gary4books 35 months ago

What Do You Think The Future Of Obamacare Is If The Florida Federal Judge Says It Is Unconstitutionl?

Oh yah, the Constitution. The one everyone worships as the unmitigated Law of the Land. Lets see how precious it really is. Here's something Bush said about it:President Bush screamed "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face, it?s just a goddamned piece of paper!"Under his administration, the government has engaged in inhumane treatment of prisoners that amounts to torture ? AND WHEN CONGRESS PASSED LEGISLATION TO BAN SUCH TREATMENT, HE DECLARED HE WOULD SIMPLY INTERPRET THE LAW IN HIS OWN WAY. Although the Constitution says treaties are the "supreme law of the land," THE PRESIDENT HAS ABROGATED THEM ON HIS OWN. And, we now know, he ordered a secret program of electronic surveillance of Americans without court warrants. Here's another gem that puts the Constitution in perspective from our last president:"President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, ASSERTING THAT HE HAS THE POWER TO SET ASIDE ANY STATUTE PASSED BY CONGRESS WHEN IT CONFLICTS WITH HIS INTERPRETATION OF THE CONSTITUTION"http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2006/04/30/bush_challenges_hundreds_of_laws/Our beloved Constitution looks like a slice of Swiss Cheese at this point. Its a joke. Anything dichotomous to its malleable form need only be re-interpreted, according to our previous president. So, how cares? Why hold Obamacare up to a joke?   Skylight 35 months ago http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/449430#ixzz1Ce01SCpW

> It is his bill that passed and it is commonly called Obamacare. No, it is not. Only you and a ferw others call it that.If it is such a great bill why would you not want his name attached to it. Lame. Really lame justification for your snark. Try again.I find it interesting that some in here freely use the term teabagger and defend its use but get their panties in a twist when a term, used by Obama supporters when the bill was passed, is used. No one has used the term teabagger here for months. And no Obama supporters called the healthcare bill Obamacare. So, another lame deflection shot down, and once again, your true motive in asking this AGAIN, is exposed. You really need to get a life, dude.   TurboB 35 months ago

Do you actually prefer the system we have now and that is that every person out there who can't afford insurance or is an illegal immigrant goes to the emergency room for medical care and we, the insured, pay for it?This is like throwing out the baby with the bath water.   MaryAnn 35 months ago
