Why don't union members pay their fair share in taxes?

Postby chadburne48 » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:05 am

Collective bargaining allows union members generous benefits , including Cadillac Health Plans, vision and dental for them and their family - saving them tens of thousands per year

These taxpayer funded benifits are non taxable

Why are union members so greedy as to take generous compensation, but most refuse to pay taxes on them?

Why don't union workers pay their fair share?

Why don't union members pay their fair share in taxes?

Postby barraq » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:07 am

Look.......what libs do get is that’s all OK as long as someone else pays for it. Government unions are funded by.........tax payers.
===> Why is this so hard for libs to grasp???
> Union teachers are paid by ......tax payers.
>Union dues teachers pay are bucks re-routed from.......tax payer funded salaries.
>Unions from those dues spend millions campaigning to elect dem politicians,
.....all from the ground zero funding of ….tax payers.

So when a state has 10% union members while the 90% aren't, the general tax payer is getting the shaft.
When some want to change this, what do dems do? Run – hide and flee the state as they boycott their own jobs who’s salaries to do this are paid by……tax payers.

Thumb downers, please enlighten us how you think unions are funded.

uhh I work in a union, make minimum wage (lower than I've ever made) and get no benefits at the moment. I get 40 dollars taken out of each paycheck for taxes (I typically will make between 150-200) plus the 8 dollars for the union fee each week. I will geet health care later on but I dont see what you are talking about

Health benefits are not spendable. In fact, it is possible a person may never benefit from them.
The Unions actually wanted salary increases, but management induced them to take the benefits instead.

You really don't know much about unions and benefits, do you? Your trying to show your intelligence by flaunting your ignorance.

They do! They pay income taxes out of every check, property taxes, Gasoline tax, sales tax, etc

The benefits are Union funded. Not tax payer funded. And most Union members that I know pay plenty in taxes, just like everyone else. Where do you get your information (yeah, I know....Glenn Beck)

Union labor pays taxes at a far higher rate than the financial supporters of the Republicans party.
