If my vehicle has been vandalized several times and the landlord has made no attempt to secure the property more, do I have a right to request to be let out of my lease/

The landlord can not and is not legally liable for the protection of your vehicle. It is up to you to provide protection for such an item. If there is vandalism to your vehicle then you would need to call your insurance company for financial relief.

It matters not the number of times your vehicle is vandalized. Protection of your vehicle is your responsibility.

What would you want the landlord to do to protect your vehicle?

This is not a cause for you to terminate your lease agreement without a financial penalty.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

Sorry but vandalism to your vehicle is between you, the vandal, the police and your insurer. If you own a home and someone damages your car you can't blame anyone else except the vandal in that case either. If the security of the rental you're at wasn't to your liking when you first moved there you shouldn't have signed the lease and looked for another place. If you've since decided it's not safe enough for you then it's up to you to move when your lease is up to find someplace that seems better.
