I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out, and he said to me that the surgery went fine... one year later a bone or tooth fragment cause a bad infection and all my teeth became loose and all most lost them, went to the dentist and ask what that was poking out of my gums and he said it was nothing (because it was his friend that did the oral surgery and didn't want to say he messed up and assign guilt)and sent me home with antibiotics, I ran out of antibiotics and the infection got really bad again so I cut the bone fragment out with a razor blade and the pain and infection went away almost immediately.... so 4 years later now and my heath has been getting worse and worse I feel like I am having a heart attack and my arms are numb and tons of pressure in my ears and neck... went to the hospital and they took blood and said there is nothing wrong with my heart, they don't know why I am having the pressure in my ears and neck but my blood work came back that I have an infection in my blood and they don't know where it is coming from, they put me on antibiotics and I start to feel better, run out of them and start feeling bad again, feel like I am going to die... then went to family doctor and told her the whole situation and she put me on antibiotics, thinking it may be Lyme disease,I take them and start feeling better, run out and start feeling like **** again... then I get a clue to what it might be because finally I start feeling some localized pain in my jaw... my gums where my wisdom tooth was extracted is know all of a sudden starting to hurt after years of no pain, really weird, so its hurting pretty bad so I start to mess with it and start picking at my gums and to my surprise the gum layer scraps right off and there in the wisdom tooth socket is a huge piece of wisdom tooth, HUGE!!! it is basically half or more of the whole wisdom tooth still in the socket the dentist must of just broke the top off and sown up the gums over it.... I go in to the dentist tomorrow and I would like to know can I sue the oral surgeon for leaving half a tooth inside my gums and closing up the would without taking it out, and for lying to me that the surgery went fine when it didn't???
the hospital doctor said I could have died from the blood infection.
can I sue for pain and suffering and malpractice (not performing his job)???
I have been having health problems for years because of this!!!
I am male 30 years old and live in Toronto Ontario Canada, does anyone know if there is a statute of limitations for this kind of thing??? because the surgeon did the surgery like 5-7 years ago...
let me know any help would be great, I have money for the lawsuit so cost is not a problem.
if anyone is a lawyer and wants to take the case contact me at [email protected]
