Meet the teacher night is about the only time I don't carry. Can't even have a gun in their parking lot.

You're supposed to leave it in the car when going into the Post Office, but i usually forget

Concealed Carry - Where do you NOT carry your firearm?

In Colorado, I will be carrying everywhere except where the law restricts it. Which is federal buildings, Schools K-12, and any private business that has a guard and/or metal detectors at every entrance specifically to prohibit carrying. All the "no guns allowed" signs in Colorado can lawfully be ignored otherwise. The only recourse a business owner would have is to throw you out.

I used to rarely carry because what I had was too large, heavy, uncomfortable, and hard to conceal in the shorts and tee shirt culture here in Florida, so a bought a small light 380 for everyday use.

Here in Florida, they asserted state law over local laws, so we long longer have a patchwork of this park, but not that park, this building, but not that building. It's made things a lot easier and I feel that I can carry without worrying about breaking the law. Sure, not on school grounds, in a bar, or some government buildings, and a few other places, but the list is short and reasonable.

My employer doesn't allow carry at work, so it stays in the car. I don't bother carrying to church if that's the only place I'm going (I feel safe there). But I can understand why others do.

But I do carry to the movies, and I am allowed to to do so here. At the recent shooting in Colorado, it wasn't allowed and some law abiding citizens many have paid with their lives for that short sighted rule.

I don't carry it to church.

I take a .25 auto anytime I head outside.

I am five foot four, 112 pounds. It is the only thing I can carry on a body my size that will pass a police "Stop-and-Frisk," which is how a city like Los Angeles controls gangs. The LAPD doesn't give a damn about the 4th Amendment. In high crime neighborhoods they stop and frisk all men under 50. If you don't like it, you can move to Beverly Hills.

We have a lot of illegal alien seamstresses here all over the place in Los Angeles. I have pockets sewn into all my sportcoats. Cops never assume you have a .25 auto at the nape of your neck.
