DO ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS? Republicans want a dumber Middle Class!?

Bush II's No child left behind, took money from schools that were failing the standards. So who gets hurt? Good schools get their money! So what happens to a school that was cut funds? Good teachers left, bad teachers would stay, (couldn't find any other job), so failure was increased. So what happens to the children? Lower grades, continued failure, fewer students would go to college.

Now we have a tuition rate hike going to double if Congress doesn't act. Who gets hurt? The .01%ers? No their children will still go to college. So who gets hurt by higher cost in College tuition?

That's not true. I used to be a substitute teacher for a failing school. Failing schools got MORE MONEY when they were failing.

Edit: Look up Title I funds. That was money given to failing schools so they could hire more teacher's aids and spend more on books and intervention programs.

Teachers at good schools actually get paid less money, look it up.

Even if it was bad, almost every Democrat voted for it. So they deserve the blame as well. They read the bill, didn't they? If everything you're saying is true, then the Democrats would be quite stupid to vote in favor of it.

For his first 2 years in office Obama had big majorities in both houses of Congress. Why did he not do something about it? Maybe so people like you would have something to blame Bush for.

Take the time to dig up the fred Koch and Sons idealogy....takes a little bit of digging

where did Fred Koch make the initial Millions?

the Koch brothers are the largest evil force....big Oil plus...they want to finish what Rockefeller started...

Koch brothers folks ya think they are not buying out democracy? They have been buying out the system for years and this is their first controlling run for the military 100% under their control

bain is in the game buying out politicians ....how do the 2 connect?

Koch brothers are involved everywhere..FACT

despite what republicans claim, they prefer people to be sick, dumb, and poor, and all their policies reflect this fact. just look at the most conservative states. they also happen to be the sickest, poorest, and least educated. why do you think the conservatives have this anti-higher education campaign going on? college is for snobs right? ignorant people support them, that's why.

l say your mistaken for it is the Democrats that want to dumb down the middle class and so far they have been pretty successful. Years ago education was the responsibility of the states then over time the government got involved.. There are many teachers that need to be fired but with union involvement they can't be fired. Unions are in control of the schools. Unions are good until they gain to much power and the teachers union has too much power and this is coming from. an eight year union member.
