My daughter was stung by a bee on school grounds during school hours. She was sent to the nurses office where they just poured alcohol over her leg without even glancing at the sting site. They then sent her to class without even notifying me. It wasn't till 8 pm an automated machine called to say she wa in the office. No explanation nothing. The following morning she woke with a hugely swollen ankle and unable to walk whilst running a fever. Is it possible to sue for negligence? I have the emergency departments documentation stating she's exhibited allergic reactions that should have been treated immediately to avoid the swelling and fever.
