You have a right to privacy,regardless of claims to the contrary here and elsewhere. If the pictures were taken without your consent to publish them whether for profit or not,your right to privacy is being usurped. It will be difficult to prosecute such a case,but if you think your rights are being stomped on and stand on principles rather than convenience it could be worth it. You could contact your federal congressional representative to ask them how to proceed. Look up who your rep is online and you can email them with your concerns. Also you could try your state legislative representative with your concerns. Good luck.
I can't believe these are Americans putting their trashy opinions of what your rights are in the USA. They are so wrong. Any picture or video taken while there was expected privacy cannot be distributed without permission, under penalty of law.
