There is a Pa. law that anyone who is walking a dog and it craps on someone's lawn- they must clean it up or you can face a fine. I see many older people carrying pooper scoopers. I'm sure people are aware- Pa. has alot of Amish people. Why is it ok for them to have their horse and buggies and travel down our streets and the horses dump a load. The amish don't clean it up! They park the buggies at our grocery store parking lot and there are piles of horse manure and they leave and it sits there for weeks. I have nothing against the animals but it's not fair.

Religious freedom and accomodation as well as different animals First, the Amish are being religiously accomodated, that's why they are allowed to do that.But in a different sense, the horse dung is cleaner and better for the environment, since it is from a herbivore.
